Apple buys license for ultra-hard metal alloys
Developed by Liquidmetal Technologies alloys are harder than titanium. Apple's license is exclusive and worldwide for the consumer electronics sector. The companies have signed a Master Transaction Agreement, which can be extended to other areas.

Apple licensed ultra-hard metals
Apple has acquired a worldwide exclusive license from Liquidmetal Technologies for Consumer Electronics. The Apple Insider reported, citing one submitted with the Securities and Exchange Commission document.
Liquid Metal developed amorphous metals. They are metal alloys which an amorphous, have so irregular atomic structure and thus harder and more corrosion resistant than titanium or aluminum.
In the past, Liquid Metal as an ultra-hard USB Flash Drive has been designed, it also survives when we trample on it.
The license is a Master Transaction Agreement. Apple could extend its license in the future so easily to other areas.
